after a month of watching fucked up lessons at last i`ve found a man who i can easly comprehend… Thanks a lot my man for real… # good job
I’m still amazed so many people understand my accent ><
ahm in fact, i don`t see anythin` strange about your accent Andy
Andy Crowley yea its an irish accent i think but im irish and dont have that accent
I’m from Yorkshire- northern England
Andy Crowley really? why? I’m watching it recommended by a friend who knew I was searching for easy tutorials. She’s Portuguese and said you explained very well. She understood you perfectly 🙂
finding it so hard to change from one cord to the next 🙁 fingers just want to go everywhere
Same here! can’t change the chords! individually playing them well!
*chord sorry lol
+Raktim Nath going to keep at it won’t be quiting that’s how you fail at it. muscle memory will kick in at some point and your hands will so things automatically
+Jamie Thomas hey dude! I’m a guitar teacher. One easy to change from chord to chord is to find and establish a transitional finger. Transitional fingers are fingers that stay on the same string and fret between two chords. Think of it as your anchor.
If there is no common pitch (string/fret) between two chords, practice with a mentronome at a VERY slow bpm as you practice your transitions. No one is exempt from this. Whether it is the average beginner or the experienced classical guitarist practicing a new piece.
Hope this helps! Let me know if you need any more assistance!
Mash’Allah ما شاء الله thanks for the advice 🙂 I will take it into consideration and see if it helps 🙂
I’ve playing for 7 years and I just wanna tell all you guys and gals learning guitar to cut your nails short, keep your thumb behind the neck for a stronger grip, till u get the hang of it, and stop practicing before you get blisters. You have to build a bit of a callus on the tip of your fingers. You will experience decreased sense of touch but don;t worry, it’s normal. And most importantly, don’t overthink it. Learn all your major and minor chords and have fun. There’s no better way of venting then playing an instrument 😀 good luck
+Presen Zrak You rock, thanks ;D!
+Presen Zrak
yeah I have prints at the tips of my fingers. I think I need a guitar with a slimmer neck though, hand cramps.
well, although a slim neck is awesome, learning on a thicker one will train you to rock any guitar you pick up. cause when playing slimmer necks you don’t need to press the strings that hard. still depends on what you’re playing 😀
ah I see, never thought about that. I learned on a thicker neck. My fingers were always in pain or cramping.
if I don’t grip the strings hard enough the sound comes out clanky, its odd cause sometimes it’ll have a bad ring to it after every strum..
I am 55 years old and just bought my first guitar. I now know chords a and e! I am practicing frequently. You are a great teacher.
i am 16 and bought my first guitar w my first paycheck 😀
+Josie Gonzalez I’m 15 just bought one
respect
Never too old to learn how to play guitar ☺️ I got my guitar for my 13th birthday and I still haven’t learned to play it at my current age of 22 (I’m not good at self motivated learning apparently) I’m gonna start learning how to play it now though, I’m determined to do it! 😃
+Taysia Kaune i am going to get my gutier on my 11 th brith day
I was here about 2 years ago and looking at where I started it’s extremely refreshing. Guys, practice, it’s definitely worth it.
I literally just got my guitar today any advise?
@@user-nx1gm1xt3v Try to learn different chords and practice switching between them quickly a couple minutes a day until your fingers start hurting. After a week or so of playing you should start developing calluses on your fingers which will numb the pain. The next step would probably be to try to learn songs that you like listening to.
This comment is very motivating!
Thank you!! 🙏🏻
I just figured out how to play happy birthday on the guitar after my first day on guitar I took a video so I can look back on it later
Rachel A. Did u understand it when u first started?
Just keep going guys. The pain will resede, the blisters will disappear, the sun will shine and your favourite song will be played with your own hand and fingers sometime in the near future. Practice makes master
dyna mite – this is so motivational and i needed it. thank u so much!
My fingers are saying “what part of ouch do you not understand?”
love you
Practice doesn’t even make perfect
Yeah calluses come in in a few days, sometimes less

this comment section is so wholesome. I feel like we’re all in this together.
I just make my own patterns to the guitar. I didn’t know there was an actual legitimate way to do it. I’m jk. But I “played” for my pets. ..they’re my pets. I think they are interested in anything I do. Poor guys. I let them see it, & they came around the guitar but they were like 🤔 what am I supposed to do w/ that? 🤷🏻♀️ They’re guinea pigs. I need to get them a more easy instrument, that way we can start a band together 🤗🤘.
lol I bet everyone is gen z… bright minds think alike 😌
I feel it like i am in a class and we the students
we are in this together 😊
We got this:)
MY RIFF JOURNEY

– smoke on the water on 2 strings
– smoke on the water on an electric guitar
– smoke on the water with a drum backing track.

my finger tips after playing one cord: *completely dead*
If you swab a little rubbing alcohol on your fingertips a few times a day it will help to dry and harden the skin until you can develop some more callous.
@@Silverfirefly1 omg thank u 💓 💓
Same my fingers have lined on them idk if I was pressing down to hard or I was doing it right😔
get some finger guards 😁
ikr it sounded nothing like his
It’s so motivating to play along to someone who is singing the song.
Is it just me or any others feel that way? Idk it kinda made me happy
Oh my god yes I feel that way too. It’s like playing with someone instead of just learning alone, though the comments make it impossible to feel like we’re learning alone 💀
true
